MARINE INDUSTRY
Planning | OEM Transport | Installation | Construction | Demolition
The water doesn’t intimidate us—not one bit. Whether it’s a highly specialized water delivery, major upgrades at a port facility, or a complicated wharf demolition project, we have decades of experience with marine infrastructure.
Marine projects can be very challenging, in terms of both logistics and safety. But our experience in this industry is proven, and that’s why so many industrial and commercial clients are depending on us with their most demanding marine projects.
WORKING ON WATER
Our team has extensive experience with performing barge deliveries of heavy equipment. In addition, there are times when large marine vessels must be moved to dry dock, whether for hull construction or hull repair. The shape and the weight of these vessels make it extremely difficult to move on dry land. However, we have been trusted to move ferry hulls (weighing in excess of 2000 tonnes) out of dry dock and into the water. These kinds of experiences make us an invaluable team to work within the marine industry.
We also have worked on most of the major port facilities in Western Canada, whether installing or maintaining port conveyors, dumpers, and ship loaders, or providing scaffolding for dry docks and shipyards. Our teams have also been contracted to help upgrade some of the most productive port facilities in the world through the installation of various conveyors, elevators, container cranes, and stacker reclaimers.
